About the Place

Casa Eulalia is a luxury villa located close to lively Albufeira, and walking distance to the beach of Santa Eulalia. An oasis, tucked away between mature Palm and Pine trees, this holiday home sleeps up to 6 persons, with private pool and gardens, and has throughout air-conditioning. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, but the good thing is that you can walk to the shops, bars and restaurants!

The town of Albufeira is hugely popular and it’s easy to understand why. It has beautiful beaches, a colourful marina, cafes, bars and restaurants to cater for every taste.

Casa Eulalia is located to the east near the famous ’strip’ in Areias de São João, where nightclubs, discos and bars come to life in the evening. There is always lots going on in this lively area and there is a huge selection of places to shop, eat and drink!

The Accommodation

All bedrooms have en-suite plus very nice modern bathrooms.

Bedroom 1, first floor: master bedroom with huge flat screen Sat. TV, en-suite bathroom with shower, doors to terrace overlooking garden and pool.

Bedroom 2, first floor; Double bed, ensuite modern bathroom with free standing bath and shower cubicle, plus doors to terrace;

Bedroom 3, basement, has own entrance from the garden. This room has twin beds, ensuite with shower.

Extra bed 1^st floor is a possibility.

The open kitchen/dining is very well equipped with among others micro wave, dishwasher, and induction (electric) hob. The lounge is spacious, with nice soft seating, fireplace, doors to terrace and garden. Adjacent to lounge is a TV room with Sat. TV, DVD and stereo.

Throughout there is a/c, that also heats in the winter, apart from bedroom 2. Two wood burning stoves to keep you warm during cold winter nights. There is once a week cleaning plus linen and towel change.

Till Sunday you can enjoy the famous Festival do Marisco (Shellfish Festival) in Olhoa, the east of Faro.

The combination of fantastic seafood and great bands performing makes this festival worth a visit.

Tickets are at the door – €8 for adults; €3 for children from 7 to 12 years; children 6 and under go free, from 7pm you can enjoy the huge variety of shell fish dishes typical of the region, while listening to a wide range of live bands performing at a huge stage, to end with fire work display.

Silves Medieval Festival

Great Music events and food festivals, it is all happening in the Algarve, the most southern part of Portugal. Besides that, Algarve Housing rents your perfect rental homes the Algarve. Are you on holiday in the Algarve or live here, please read further for things to do in the Algarve!

There is a Rock Festival near Portimao, at Parkalgar, the international Motor Park of the Algarve. From 5 till 8^th of August, you can enjoy various Rock Music with among others James Morrison, Bjorn Again, The Waterboys, Linked In Park, Os Pontos Negros and much more.I found this really nice website that give you nice information about the bands, please check it out!

Silves Medieval Festival

The Medieval Festival in Silves starts at 8^th of August. Till the 16^th of August, from 7pm the historic town of Silves, steps back to the 12^th, 13^th and 14^th centuries.

The streets of the historic town centre will be bustling with life, exuding a distinctive atmosphere in a unique setting and environment. Along the city’s streets, alleyways, cul-de-sacs and corners, visitors will encounter typical scenes from everyday medieval life.

Beggars, travelling musicians, jugglers, exotic characters and processions of wealthy citizens are just some of the attractions that await you in this journey to the past.

And then we have the greatest Sardine Festival at the riverside of Portimao. If you are anywhere on the Western side of the Algarve in August (7 to 16^th of August) then don’t miss the Sardine Festival in Portimão!

Portimão is recognised as the Sardine Capital of the Algarve!

This event is well attended by Portuguese and tourists alike and is organised by the local council. Apart from sardines there will be other Portuguese culinary delights and plenty of good wine and
beer! There will also be music concerts & fireworks. The event takes place in the Riverside/Quayside from 6PM with the concerts starting at 10PM.
