About the Place
Quinta Rustica is a countryside farmhouse divided into 4 holiday homes located just a little north of the picturesque fisherman’s village of Ferragudo. Surrounded by nature, while only a 5-minute drive to Ferragudo town centre and its beaches.
Each house has its own entrance, garden and terrace but share a communal pool, perfect for getting to know a few of the others staying on-site in a relaxed setting. There is also a communal washing machine available.
The restored farmhouse has kept its original details but modernised its interiors for practicality combining modern essentials with some antique pieces of furniture adding real character to the place. The kitchens are modern and well-equipped and each house has a lounge with satellite TV, WI-FI and a wood burner for the winter months. The 2 bedroom villas also include a sofa bed in the lounge. Each house is on two floors apart from HOUSE 1 (2-bed) which is all on one level.

The farmhouse is located on a plot of 15 hectares in the countryside. Each holiday house has its own garden and terrace with BBQ while sharing a communal pool. There is a pleasant pool terrace with sun loungers to relax, read a book or meet other guests staying at Quinta Rustica.

Quinta Rustica is located just outside the traditional quirky fishing village of Ferragudo. Beaches, restaurants, bars and shops are all within a 5 minute drive or a 10-15 minutes walk if you don’t have a car. Eat in and enjoy the convenience of cooking your own meal or dine out at one of the typical restaurants of the village or treat yourself to a dinner with a beach view at one of the various beach restaurants like ClubNau or Rei das Praias being two of the best.
You can take a small ferry boat across the river to either Portimao Marina or Portimao centre. Here you will find a variety of bars and restaurants and in the summer, music festivals and events.
Portimao has the largest shopping center of the Algarve – Aqua shopping, where you will find among many others Zara, Primark and H&M as well as a large food court.
There are various activities in and around Ferragudo that are definitely worth looking into such as: sailing cruises, kite surfing, dolphin safaris, scuba diving and snorkeling, jet skiing, water skiing, paragliding, tennis, horse riding and jeep safaris among others.
