Casa Alfanzina is a very nice villa near the lively and popular Carvoeiro. Located in the countryside, but within walking distance to the beach and to the center of Carvoeiro. The villa Carvoeiro has a mature, large garden, and a private and heated (optional) pool.
Accommodation:
Casa Alfanzina has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plus a guest toilet. Large lounge/dining area with doors to terrace. The kitchen is well-equipped. The pictures show the bedrooms on the right, left part is the lounge and kitchen.
The master bedroom of the Casa Alfanzina has a double bed and an ensuite bathroom with a bath and shower.
Casa Alfanzina has two twin rooms (each room with two single beds) and those bedrooms share a bathroom with bath and shower. Each bedroom has an air-con unit (optional)
The kitchen is well equipped with among others: an electric hob, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, dishwasher, kettle, microwave and toaster. The pantry has a washing machine and iron facilities.
Casa Alfanzina has central heating and a wood burner. Wi-Fi, DVD and satellite TV are available.
Outside:
Although it is only a 10-minute walk to the lively village Carvoeiro, you can easily find privacy and peace in the secluded garden. The well-maintained garden has lawns, and many fruit trees like oranges, lemons, figs and almonds. From the garden, you can walk down to the village of Carvoeiro, a nice walk!
With a few steps down you enter the pool area with sun lounges and umbrellas around the pool which has an option to be heated. The partly covered terrace has a table and chairs to enjoy lunches and dinners, looking over the pool and garden. A built-in BBQ will make your holiday complete at Casa Alfanzina!

If the arrival date is not a changeover day, guests are welcome to check-in earlier, subject to confirmation.
Furthermore, the basic cleaning service will be provided twice a week, on days to be confirmed for each stay (we will leave this info at the villa prior to the guest’s arrival).
We will not be meeting and greeting guests after arrival, due to revised Covid-19 safety measures for our staff. We will, of course, continue to provide technical customer support services whenever required.

Changeover day in the high season: Saturday. The rest of the year: flexible.
Heating the house: there is a fireplace, gas wall heaters (with timer) and electric space heaters for your comfort.
It is only a 10-minute walk to the popular Carvoeiro where you can find everything you need such as many, many bars and restaurants for all budgets, supermarkets, shops, and beaches.
A large supermarket (Intermarche) is just outside Carvoeiro.
From your doorstep, you can walk to little secluded beaches (10 minutes walk), a 10-minute drive there are many other nice, white sandy beaches like Praia da Rocha and Ferragudo.
In Carvoeiro, you can arrange all activities you can think of, such as dolphin watching, sailing, scuba diving, Jeep safaris, trips to the popular Zoo Marine, or one of the many water parks the Algarve has. A 5-minute drive to the tennis club Carvoeiro and many renowned golf courses are all in the area!!
More to the West Algarve, you find popular places like Alvor and Lagos, and on another short drive, you find the historic town of Silves and the Monchique mountain area.

Had a lovely stay in this villa. Walk into town was ok going as it was downhill but opted for taxis back only 5euro. Local supermarkets are very limited with food and the large supermarkets are a drive away. You can do an online shop but be careful how you order as you order in grams. We had 1 prawn delivered with our shop. Loved the villa and pool . There is a goat and Donkey living together next door that would greet us every morning They were lovely. Great communication from the host and help was in hand very quickly after I lost the door key. Highly recommend this property
Great villa, about a 20 minute walk into town. Nearby to lots of great smaller beaches and hiking paths. We did the seven hanging valleys trail which isn’t to be missed! Pool is large and very private. Kitchen is good enough, but there is no salt / pepper / spices / oil etc so this will all need to be purchased. We had a few issues with opening and closing the door and the host / rental company weren’t the most responsive. Overall good value for money and we would return
Our stay was wonderful! We loved the home and it’s location. The pool allowed for rest and relaxation between outings. House had everything we needed. The area was very walkable. We ubered when needed but walked to town and beach multiple times each day.
